LETTER TO MY FRIEND
Dear friend,
When the world has rejected you,
When none is on your side,
When life has sapped your strength,
Call on Him and He will help.
When storms are hitting you hard,
When you can’t find your light,
And there is none to smile about,
Go to Him and He will see you through.
When you have lost your job,
And the world is laughing at you,
Dear friend am just a call away,
Call on holy spirit and he will help you battle out.
When you have nothing to offer,
When your family disparage you,
Breathe deeply and look for Him,
He who created you is comforter.
When your nights turn longer than usual,
And your pillow is stained with tears,
As thoughts engulf your mind,
Don’t regret just go on your knees.
When nothing pleases you,
And all that seemed best turn to be tests,
Friend read Job chapter 14 verse 1,
It’s part of life just shared out with God.
When sickness has engulfed your body,
And you closest people want you dead,
Don’t curse them, don’t blame them,
Call unto God and He will heal you,
When you divorces and separations are what make your marriage,
As the whole village turn against you,
Don’t argue with them,
Instead ask God to mend your marriage.
When you have given your best,
And to God you have prayed in faith,
But things are still in total mess,
Don’t cry instead read Psalms chapter 37 and Jeremiah 33 the pray.
As we journey through this life of the unknown,
Sometimes unexpected happen,
But dear friend don’t give in and don’t give up,
Instead always ask God in prayers.
