Born to be a mama’s boy.
Forced to be a Gladiator.
Born to give love and receive love in equal measure, yet willing to give more than I have received.
Born to love with no boundaries nor conditions.
Forced to hold back my emotions and create an image that shows no emotion or weakness.
Born to wear my heart on my sleeve.
Forced to wear tank tops and vests.
I’m no longer broken hearted.
Drowned so much my body developed gills, now I swim in the depths protecting the pieces of my heart locked away in a treasure chest.
When you ask me if I love you, the answer is this, ‘what have you done to deserve my love’?
Don’t tell me you love me, cause then I would ask you what I have done to deserve your love.
We’ve all been tainted and damned to love with conditions.
The only love that exists in it’s pure, untainted, unconditional form is the love that the saviour has for his children.
The shepherd and the lost sheep, and sometimes if you are born lucky, The mother and her child.
